Citibank strikes mobile ads with AMAZE to drive sales
Citibank has dipped its toes into the mobile marketing arena, launching banner ads on "iPhone AM730 and Bus x Map Share" with Gravitas' mobile advertising network – AMAZE, to drive sales for its card debt consolidation loan.
"The leading marketers aren't simply looking at it as an advertising or promotional channel but as a key element of consumer engagement and their overall marketing strategies. Mobile provides the opportunity to create brand awareness, brand favorability and increased purchase intention. Mobile is performing much higher than traditional online branding across those metrics", said the project manager of Gravitas.
AM730 is one of the leading free Chinese newspapers in Hong Kong. To target trendy quality readers, it has worked with Gravitas to extend the advertising network to iPhone platform since January 2010.
Bus x Map Share is one of the hottest application with over 945,544 total visits every month in Hong Kong, works with Gravitas to launch mobile advertising service enabling advertisers to target on-the-go quality audiences.
